Our roosters are hand raised, so they are used to being handled. Silkie roosters are often friendly and gentle with humans, especially if they are handled frequently as they grow up. Roosters are a nice addition to a flock (1 rooster for every 3-6 hens). They help keep order in the flock and they care for and protect the hens. Silkie roosters are even known to be good fathers and babysit the chicks.
Minimum required order: 2 birds (hens or roosters, any available color)
